Anyone who is troubled by broken capillaries, rosacea, brown spots / irregular pigmentation is a good candidate for laser treatments. With our new medical grade laser technologies any suntanned skin or darker skin is now a candidate for the treatment.
-
Between one and three sessions of the Anti Redness Laser Treatment, you can begin to see long-lasting results. After the initial reddening of your skin, your targeted areas will fade and you can begin to notice skin tone even out for dramatically noticeable results. Be aware that the issues that are being treated – rosacea, broken capillaries, irregular pigmentation etc. all come from years of low grade ultraviolet light. If you are good about using zinc sunscreen, the benefits can last for years – and can even be permanent. You’ll see dramatic results after ONE treatment.
-
Right after your treatment, the treated area of skin may appear a bit red. The added colour may last a day or so, but since the skin is not “cut” by the laser, there is no bleeding, oozing and thus there is no downtime… Within a week, results will be obvious. Reddened areas will fade, and brown spots will flake off, leaving your skin toned and beautiful.

Dr. Alanen may choose to treat your Rosacea condition with prescription medication, topical medicine, an emollient to help repair the skin, lasers or light-based laser treatments.
