Chemical Peel
The Derm.ca Chemical Peel is a skin revitalizing treatment used to safely and effectively remove the outermost layer of damaged skin, resulting in an improved complexion and healthier looking skin.
Why this treatment?
The natural aging process, exposure to environmental factors such as the sun, and imperfections we may have had for years can take its toll on our skin, causing it to look dull, wrinkled, and lacking that vibrant, youthful appearance it once had.
At Derm.ca Laser and Esthetics we have perfected a safe, medical-grade chemical peel treatment which has helped our patients renew and revitalize their skin by smoothing away dull and damaged skin. The result is a fresher, healthier skin, and a better looking you.

Chemical Peel FAQs
-
The Derm.ca Chemical Peel is a skin revitalizing treatment used to safely and effectively remove the outermost layer of damaged skin, resulting in an improved complexion and healthier looking skin.
A specially formulated solution based on skin type and skin condition is applied to the area to be treated. The solution contains revitalizing ingredients with exfoliating properties that work to lift and remove dead cells, debris, imperfections, and other damage.
A new and healthy layer of skin is then revealed, which will more readily absorb nourishing topical creams, moisturizers, and serums.

Depending on the skin condition being treated, the results of a chemical peel can vary. Typically, you will see results when the skin heals and the top layer peels and falls off. This will generally take place within two to three weeks, however, deeper chemical peels can take as long as 4 months if pre-cancerous cells are being treated.
One of our Derm.ca Chemical Peel specialists will be able to provide you with an estimated healing period during the initial consultation.

Result time of chemical peels will vary depending on the type of peel.
Deeper peels can last for several years while shallower peels, often referred to as surface peels, must be maintained on a more frequent basis.
